LLR 38 Donated $500 to the Boys and Girls Club of the Leech Lake Area. LLR39 will also donate to this cause.

The Leech Lake Regatta is run by a volunteer committee of the Shores of Leech Lake Yacht Club. The LLR is a multi-class sailboat race. More than just a race - it's a three-day event for sailors that is great fun! Racing, sailing, campfires, music, camaraderie; regardless of what type of boat you have, or how much sailing experience you have, you will enjoy the LLR sailing event, please join us!

LLR39 will be held August 14-16, 2010. If you register by August 7th the fee is $75. After August 7th the fee is $100. The regatta fee includes administration of the three day race and two tickets to the Awards Banquet. Additional tickets to the Awards Banquet are for sale at the Regatta Registration Table. There is also a BBQ picnic on Sunday night - tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for children 12 and under.

All LLR participants must register with both the LLR Race Committee and Shores of Leech Lake. Mooring of boats in Shores harbor or on the beach is $15 per night. The fee for crew and LLR guests sleeping on Shores premises is $10 per night. This fee applies to crew sleeping in a boat, tent, camper, car, whatever. RV campsites (very few available) are $45 per night. Campsite fee is based on 2 adults and 2 children. For other lodging options Leech Lake Area Chamber of Commerce .

It is highly recommended that every LLR racer have a VHF radio tuned to channel 18

A crane is available to lift boats, maximum lift fee is $200. Fee decreases as boats share the crane fee. If several boats lift, crane fee is likely to be $60 - $70. Please contact Shores, a week or two in advance of the regatta, so we can arrange a crane for you.

Aug 13: Race packet pickup. Check-In & Late Registration, on-site Shores of Leech Lake. Race packet includes two tickets to the Awards Banquet - additional tickets available for purchase. Tickets to the Sunday evening BBQ / Picnic also available for purchase, adults are $10, children 12 and under $6. Registration closes at 8 PM on 8/13/10.
Aug 14: Complimentary coffee & donuts 7:00 - 8:30 AM, LLR tent.
Aug 14: Race meeting 8:00 AM, LLR tent. Walker Bay Days Beach Party - Walker City Beach. Evening campfire / music at Shores - Yardarm.
Aug 15: Complimentary coffee & donuts 7:00 - 8:30 AM, LLR tent.
Aug 15: Race meeting 8:00 AM, LLR tent.
Aug 15: 6:00pm BBQ at LLR Tent. Campfire & music at Yardarm fire ring.
