RV Sites

For the 2008 season, six sites are available for short-term stays.  These sites are 1, 14, 16, 17, 23 and 1H.   At the bottom of this page is a map of Shores grounds.

Tent Camping

Transient tent camping is not allowed except tent camping on the lighthouse point is available during the Leech Lake Regatta and anytime to friends and family of seasonal customers.  Tents may be pitched on seasonal sites for friends or family.

Dock Slips

Protected, covered and uncovered dock slips are available for short-term rentals.  All docks include power and water.

Seasonal dock slips and sites

Shores has 120 dock slips, but just 50 RV or Park Trailer sites.  For that reason, Shores keeps a waiting list only for seasonal dock slips.  When seasonal sites become available, they are first offered to existing Shores seasonals.

Shores does not do maintenance work on boats or RVs - see the "Resources and Links" tab on this website. 

Shores will coordinate winterizing of boats and provides shrink-wrapping and outside storage.

Summer storage of boats is $12 per night.
Ramp fee - $6 each way, waived with dock rental.
Marine pump-out, self service only - $10.  Free to guests.
Gyn pole (for stepping masts), self service only - $20.  Free to guests.
Summer trailer or cradle storage - $25
Winter Storage (08/09) - $8/ft., $3/ft. for seasonal guests.
Shrinkwrapping - $10/ft. for < 24' boat, $13/ft. for > 24' or mast up or bridge.
Fishing boat rental, Shores guests only.  16' Crestliner, 40HP Yamaha - $25/hr, $125/day
For seasonal guests, Shores will try always to accommodate any short-term camping requests for family or friends.  For others, Shores accepts advanced reservations of 3 nights or more for camping and boat slips. - Reservations cancelled within 14 days of scheduled arrival will incur two-nights charges for the units reserved. - Upon arrival, you will be charged campsite and dock fees for the period you reserved. - Additional tents, or vehicles people sleep in, will incur a campsite charge. - Reservations for 15 days or more cannot be modified and require 1/2 payment at time of reservation. - Please be sure your pet is on a leash at all times. Pick up after your dog and do not allow it to bark. - Camp and the harbor is quiet from 11pm to 7am - Check-in is 2:30pm. Check out is 1:30pm. - Please do not allow your children to play in the shower houses or kitchen. - Before you enter the harbor from the lake, scan the harbor for moving masts. - Discounts for stay of a week or more. - Fireworks (except sparklers) are not allowed.
