Shores of Leech Lake is located in
north-central Minnesota, just 2 1/2 miles north of the town of Walker
and 33 miles SE of Bemidji. Walker is 140 miles east of
Fargo and Grand Forks North Dakota, 140 miles west of Duluth
Minnesota, 200 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
From Walker follow 371 north, 2
1/2 miles north of town you will pass under a bridge (the State
trail). Shores is on Morriss Point Road, the first road
north of that bridge on the east side of the highway.
